The former home of Jellyrolls at Disney's BoardWalk is looking less like a construction zone and more like a destination. The dueling piano bar closed in early 2025, and the space is being reinvented as The Hurly-Burly Jazz Club — and recent photos show the transformation is well underway.
A bold red awning with scalloped edges and gold shell detailing has appeared along the left side of the building, trimmed with rows of white lights above and below. The windows now have thick white trim, and rolling planters paired with a green fence have replaced the plain white construction walls that previously blocked the area. The main entrance still lacks its awning, so there's clearly more to come on the exterior.
Inside, a peek through the open double red doors reveals a ceiling covered in sheathing — likely a base layer ahead of decorative finishes — and a white seashell-shaped wall sconce near the entry. An overexposed photo captured a glimpse of what appears to be dark blue or black walls adorned with large decorative panels and a single horizontal light fixture. A fleet of roughly a dozen electrical and service trucks outside signals that significant interior work is actively in progress.
When it opens, The Hurly-Burly Jazz Club will be themed around a historic seaside theatre. Afternoons will welcome families with trivia and games, while evenings shift to a 21-and-up live music experience featuring coastal-inspired cocktails and light bites. Disney reportedly began casting performers for the venue late in 2025 with a 2026 debut in mind. Meanwhile, the original Jellyrolls operators have announced they plan to open a new location in the Lake Buena Vista area later this year.
