If you haven't yet met HamiKuma, Halloween Horror Nights 2026 at Universal Orlando Resort is a fine time for an introduction. The zombie teddy bear — originally a mascot at Universal Studios Japan — has a surprisingly dark backstory: a circus performer slashed open and burned alive by jealous colleagues, only to be resurrected by a parasitic demon called Death Bringer. His name, roughly translated, means "protruding bear," a nod to the colorful objects spilling out of his stomach.

After debuting U.S. merchandise at both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood last year, HamiKuma is back with a new collection for 2026. Shoppers can find the items at the Universal Studios Store in CityWalk and at Five & Dime inside Universal Studios Florida. The apparel lineup includes a raglan t-shirt ($35), a women's sheer short-sleeve top with red and green plaid detail ($40), and a standout fuzzy hooded sweatshirt ($70) that opens at the belly to reveal a doll head — with a hood styled to look like the bear's face, protruding eyeball included.

Accessories round out the collection nicely. Hat options include a plush headband ($30) and a fuzzy ball cap ($35), both featuring HamiKuma's signature plaid ear accents. Bag choices run from a packable tote that folds into a plush HamiKuma head ($20) to a full plush backpack version of the character ($45). A rotating enamel pin ($25) lets fans keep the bear close without committing to the full backpack.

For those who prefer their horror a little sweeter, there are two candy options: a 3-oz. box of candy-coated gummy bears ($7) and rainbow crunch clusters ($15). Prices across the collection range from $7 to $70, offering something at nearly every budget.
