Universal Orlando Resort has finalized the haunted-house lineup for Halloween Horror Nights 35, announcing Evil Dead Burn as the tenth and final house heading into the event's August 28 opening. The addition brings a franchise still fresh from its July 10 theatrical release to the seasonal event, joining previously announced experiences based on Stranger Things 5, Sinners, and the original Hellraiser trilogy.
The Evil Dead house promises an encounter with what Universal describes as soul-sucking Deadites, drawing on the demonic-possession premise of the latest film in Sam Raimi's long-running horror franchise. The movie follows a grieving woman who visits her late husband's family and becomes entangled in another outbreak of possession — material that translates readily into the compressed scares of an HHN walkthrough attraction.
Completing the creative slate, however, coincides with a less welcome set of changes on the ticketing side. Every multi-night pass for 2026 carries a higher price than its 2025 equivalent. The Rush of Fear Pass now starts at $229.99 plus tax, up $30 from last season. The Frequent Fear Pass is $274.99, Frequent Fear Plus is $324.99, and the all-nights Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass tops out at $449.99 — each representing a $25 to $30 increase over 2025 starting prices.
Beyond the price hikes, Universal has also discontinued the multi-night Express bundles that allowed frequent visitors to purchase Express access alongside their season-style passes in 2025. Date-specific Express Passes remain on sale, but guests who want priority queue access on multiple evenings must now buy it separately for each visit, a change that could meaningfully raise the cost for dedicated repeat attendees.
