Scoring a seat at Walt Disney World's most in-demand bars just got a little easier. The Beak & Barrel tavern, tucked inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, and GEO-82, the lounge within Spaceship Earth, have both quietly gained Walk-Up Waitlist functionality in the My Disney Experience app.
The feature lets guests add their name to a virtual queue rather than hovering near the entrance hoping for an opening — a welcome change at two spots known for drawing crowds throughout the day.
The addition of the Walk-Up Waitlist suggests Walt Disney World is leaning into the same remote-queuing approach already used for dining and other experiences across the resort, giving visitors more flexibility to explore the parks while they wait for a table or bar seat to open up.
No advance reservations are required for either lounge, so the waitlist remains a same-day, walk-up option only — meaning planning ahead beyond the day of your visit still won't be possible.
