Guests heading to EPCOT on October 23 or October 25, 2026, should plan for a later-than-usual start. The park will open at 10 a.m. on both of those days — an hour later than the standard 9 a.m. opening — due to runDisney race activity tied to Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend.
Both dates fall on runDisney race days, which typically require early-morning use of park areas and surrounding roads, making a delayed guest opening a practical necessity during the event.
There's also a shift worth knowing about on the Monday of that weekend: Extended Evening Hours, which are normally an EPCOT perk for Disney resort guests, will move over to Disney's Animal Kingdom that day instead.
If Wine & Dine Weekend is already on your calendar, it's worth double-checking your arrival plans and any dining or Lightning Lane reservations that might be timed around a 9 a.m. rope drop. A little extra flexibility on those mornings will go a long way. If you haven't locked in Walt Disney World tickets yet, now's a good time to compare options before the fall rush.
