Visitors heading to EPCOT's Germany Pavilion this month will find more than a few rope lines — most of Volkskunst is currently closed for an unplanned refurbishment, and it's affecting guests in a pretty inconvenient way.

According to Cast Members on site, the closure was triggered by the need to repair backstage Cast Member bathrooms. But Disney decided to tackle all of the pavilion's restrooms at the same time, meaning the public facilities in the Germany area are also completely off-limits through at least July 24th.

That leaves guests needing a restroom break with no choice but to walk further along World Showcase to find facilities — something worth factoring into your touring plan, especially on hot summer days with little ones in tow.

The Germany closure is one of several active refurbishments at Walt Disney World right now. Magic Kingdom's Carousel of Progress is also down during the same window, among other ongoing projects across the resort.
