Before it lands on the streaming service, Disney Worldbuilders will make its world premiere at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, California, on August 16, 2026, complete with a panel featuring storytellers from the film. It arrives on Disney+ later that same month. In the meantime, Iwerks' previous Disney documentary, Disneyland Handcrafted, is already streaming on Disney+ and the Disney YouTube channel.
