Guests staying at Disney World's Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resorts — along with a handful of other select hotels — have a strong reason to plan an August visit. Extended Evening Hours are returning for nine nights across four parks, giving eligible guests two extra hours after each park closes to the general public.
Magic Kingdom gets the most dates: late-night sessions running until 1 AM on August 5th and 12th, and until midnight on August 19th. EPCOT offers evening hours every Sunday in August — the 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st — from 9 PM to 11 PM. Animal Kingdom rounds out the schedule with a single evening on August 26th, from 6 PM to 8 PM.
The attraction lineups are substantial. Magic Kingdom's window includes fan favorites like TRON Lightcycle / Run, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion, and Space Mountain. EPCOT's sessions cover Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Frozen Ever After, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, and Test Track, among others. Animal Kingdom's evening features Avatar Flight of Passage, Expedition Everest, Na'vi River Journey, and Zootopia: Better Zoogether.
The perk is available to guests booked at Disney's eight Deluxe Resorts, all Deluxe Villa properties, and select partner hotels including the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve, as well as Shades of Green. Guests who aren't staying at eligible resorts can still enjoy after-hours time through separately ticketed After Hours Events, which are scheduled at Hollywood Studios on four August nights and at EPCOT on August 6th and 13th — each running until 12:30 AM and including complimentary snacks.
