Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and other guests with merchandise discounts can no longer use those discounts on bottled beverages at Disney-owned gift shops.
WDWNT reported that the change took effect Tuesday, October 6. Bottled water, soda and similar drinks must now be purchased at full price, according to the outlet, which said it confirmed the policy with multiple Cast Members.
Previously, Annual Passholders could use their 20% merchandise discount on bottled drinks sold at Disney-owned stores. The discount had long been a familiar way for Passholders to save on beverages while shopping in the parks and resorts.
