Two Walt Disney World thrill rides will switch to holiday music for limited runs this season, with changes planned at EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

At EPCOT, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will use a three-song holiday playlist from Nov. 25 through Jan. 6. Riders will hear one randomly selected track per ride: Andy Williams’ “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” or The Waitresses’ “Christmas Wrapping.”

The Cosmic Rewind music change begins two days before EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, which is scheduled for Nov. 27 through Dec. 30.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will present its “Obligatory Holiday Overlay” from Nov. 4 through Jan. 6. The Electric Mayhem’s seasonal takeover will begin with holiday music in the courtyard, while the studio storyline includes the band rehearsing as familiar Muppet characters stop by.

The coaster’s holiday ride experience will feature four new tracks: “Holiday Road” with Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear, “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” with Jennifer Hudson, “Silver Bells” with Cyndi Lauper, and “Little Saint Nick.”

Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets reopened May 26 with a Muppet-themed overhaul. Its regular story places guests on a VIP tour of G-Force Records before Scooter works to get The Electric Mayhem to a concert across town.
