Traveling to Walt Disney World with a mountain of bags just got a little less stressful. Disney has added Caribbean Beach Resort to its Airport Luggage Transfer pilot program, making it the sixth Disney Resorts Collection hotel where guests can hand off their luggage and skip the baggage carousel at Orlando International Airport.
The service, operated by BagCheck, is available to guests staying at Disney's All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, All-Star Sports, Art of Animation, Pop Century, and now Caribbean Beach resorts. Participation is limited to three airlines: American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and Southwest Airlines.
The process works in both directions. Guests arriving at Orlando International can register for the service anywhere from 30 days to 24 hours before their flight, then head straight to their resort on arrival — luggage will follow within four hours and can be picked up at Bell Services or delivered to the room (gratuities are separate). On departure day, bags need to be dropped with Bell Services between 24 and 4 hours before the flight, and guests will need a valid photo ID and boarding pass to hand them over. Registering more than seven days out gets you printed luggage tags mailed to your home; later registrations skip the tags but bags are still tracked via a confirmation email link.
The addition of Caribbean Beach — a moderate-category resort — is a meaningful step up from the program's previous all-value and Art of Animation lineup, and fans are hopeful it signals more properties on the way. For anyone who has mourned the loss of Disney's Magical Express since it ended in 2022, this service offers at least a partial consolation for getting luggage out of the equation on travel days.
