Disney Vacation Club's 2026 Welcome Home Weeks event is in full swing, but the clock is ticking. The celebration, which kicked off in July, wraps up on August 26 — giving members roughly one month to take advantage of a dozen special perks spread across the parks, Disney Springs, and select resort hotels.
The food-focused benefits alone are worth planning around. DVC members can score complimentary ice cream at multiple locations including Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney's Riviera Resort, plus free coffee and morning treats at Bay Lake Tower and Disney's Wilderness Lodge on select mornings. Dining discounts of up to 40% are available at ten participating table-service restaurants, including Tiffins, Be Our Guest, and Coral Reef Restaurant, though a few spots cap their discount at 20%.
Disney Springs adds its own lineup of weekday freebies: a complimentary pretzel at The Polite Pig on Mondays, an exclusive slushie at City Works on Tuesdays, a free donut at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew on Wednesdays (no purchase required), complimentary Desi ice cream at eet by Maneet Chauhan on Thursdays, and a free appetizer at Frontera Cocina on Fridays with a qualifying drink purchase.
Beyond the edible perks, members can book complimentary 15-minute private Disney PhotoPass sessions at Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, and Riviera resorts — advance registration required. Exclusive character meet-and-greets are scheduled at Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney's BoardWalk on select dates through August 26, and complimentary Welcome Home Weeks buttons are available at Discovery Desks and Welcome Home Centers around property.
Members can also pick up complimentary candy during Movies Under the Stars at select resorts through the end of the event. Full details, including specific dates and hours for each benefit, were reported by Inside the Magic.
