Disney Vacation Club kicked off its 2026 Welcome Home Weeks on July 22, with the celebration running through August 26. This year carries extra meaning as DVC marks its 35th anniversary. Eligible members can find brochures with full details at the DVC desk of participating resort lobbies, many of which are already dressed up with festive decorations.
Two wakeup mixer events are woven into the weekly schedule. The Welcome Home Wakeup takes place Fridays and Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. at Top of the World Lounge–A Villains Lair inside Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Saturdays and Sundays during the same hours at Reunion Station at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Character experiences run 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Atlantic Dance Hall on Disney's BoardWalk on select dates between July 22 and August 26.
The dining perks are substantial. Members can save up to 40 percent on food and non-alcoholic beverages at a long list of table-service restaurants — including Hollywood & Vine, Tusker House, Garden Grill, Whispering Canyon Cafe, and Trattoria al Forno — Monday through Thursday. The Crystal Palace and Be Our Guest offer a 20 percent discount on select meals. Several Disney Springs restaurants are also joining in with complimentary treats tied to specific days of the week, from a Welcome Home Weeks donut at Everglazed on Wednesdays to desi ice cream at Eet by Maneet Chauhan on Thursdays, no purchase required.
Free ice cream pop-ups are scattered across all four theme parks and Disney Springs on rotating days and times, and complimentary candy will be on hand during Movies Under the Stars at ten DVC resort locations. Members can also snag a free commemorative button, while supplies last, at DVC member lounges and welcome centers throughout Walt Disney World.
