Disney's Swan and Dolphin Resort doesn't always top the conversation when guests are mapping out where to eat on property, but it probably should. The resort has a distinct dining option for every part of the day, and a recent test of three of its restaurants — one per meal — found each one delivering in its own right.
Mornings start strong at Java at Swan, a walk-up counter that moves quickly and stocks far more than coffee. The C3 Dark Roast Coffee with Collagen ($6.50) is smooth and customizable at a full condiment station, while The Standard breakfast sandwich ($12) on a buttery croissant roll brings a welcome kick from pepper jack cheese. Mickey Waffles dusted in cinnamon powdered sugar are available for $7.50 — a genuine novelty for a grab-and-go window.
For lunch, The Fountain at the Dolphin earns comparisons to the beloved Beaches & Cream without the reservation headache. The Fountain Smash Burger ($21) stood out for its hand-pressed feel and fully melted cheese, the Burnt Ends & Pimento Melt ($20) swaps beef for turkey brisket with pickled red onion, and a massive Pretzel and Cheese Dip ($14) makes a worthy starter. The Banana Pudding Milkshake ($15) — topped with actual banana chunks and vanilla wafer pieces — is reason enough to stop in on its own. The Fountain is also conveniently reachable from EPCOT and Hollywood Studios via a short Friendship boat ride.
Dinner at Kimonos, the resort's sushi bar and lounge, shifts the mood entirely. The space is sleek and modern with an open sushi bar, and the menu ranges from signature rolls like the Dragon Roll and Kimonos Roll to wagyu beef skewers and gyoza. The Raspberry Sake Sangria ($16) — blended with sake, Kenwood Merlot, pomegranate, raspberry, and triple sec — opens the meal on a bright, fruity note. Later in the evening, the room often evolves into a lounge scene with live music, DJ sets, and karaoke, making it a natural choice for guests who want a night that extends well past park close.
