A Hallmark pop-up shop has opened at Disney Springs, bringing Christmas ornaments, plush, holiday apparel and other seasonal merchandise to Walt Disney World’s shopping and dining district.

Disney Food Blog reported that the small store was operating with both an outdoor physical line and a virtual queue on opening day. Guests could join the virtual queue by speaking with a cast member at the front of the line. The limited capacity was intended to keep occupancy manageable in the compact space.

Among the Disney-themed offerings were a light-up, music-playing Cinderella Castle tree topper; Star Wars ornaments featuring Darth Vader and Han Solo; Mickey and Minnie plush; and holiday clothing. According to Disney Food Blog, a Hallmark cast member said the Cinderella Castle topper was sold out at most other stores at the time.

The shop also carried a red Mickey ornament that records a guest’s voice, along with pajamas and a Skipper Mickey ornament. Disney Food Blog reported that these items are connected to Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, a Hallmark movie filmed at Walt Disney World that is expected to arrive soon.

Early demand appeared strong. Disney Food Blog said the display of Loungefly bags and ears had largely emptied by the time its visit ended, though it was not clear whether the items had sold out or were awaiting restocking.

A Hallmark corporate representative told Disney Food Blog the company hopes for a permanent presence at Disney Springs. For now, the location is a pop-up, giving holiday shoppers another seasonal stop while visiting the Walt Disney World resort area.
