Disney's BoardWalk Inn is getting a noticeable facelift along its lakeside facade, as crews have begun repainting the former Jellyrolls piano bar building in a darker shade of blue. The updated color is already largely complete on the lake-facing side of the building, while the BoardWalk-facing side still shows the original lighter blue.
The repainting is part of the ongoing conversion of the longtime piano bar — which closed in early 2025 — into The Hurly Burly Jazz Club. Walt Disney World Resort has described the new venue as a historic seaside theater concept that will offer family-friendly programming during daytime hours and an adults-only live music lounge experience in the evenings, along with themed cocktails and light bites.
The Hurly Burly Jazz Club is currently scheduled to open to guests in late 2026, though no specific grand-opening date has been announced. The transformation is one of several active construction projects at the EPCOT Resort Area hotel — the Village Green area is also temporarily closed through September 4 following new turf installation.
