Disney’s Riviera Resort is 95% sold through Disney Vacation Club, according to the program’s October 2026 promotional messaging. The figure refers to Disney Vacation Club ownership inventory, not the percentage of hotel rooms booked or available for regular resort stays.

Riviera, which opened in December 2019 at Walt Disney World, has about 6.74 million total Vacation Points. The reported milestone leaves roughly 378,500 points outside the sold inventory, though some points are held back for operational purposes. The source estimates about 243,700 points could remain available for additional sales after accounting for that holdback.

Disney has not announced an official sellout date. Outside estimates cited by Inside the Magic suggest the resort could reach that point in early 2027, but Disney has not confirmed that timeline or any Riviera-specific pricing changes once active sales end.

Disney Vacation Club is a points-based timeshare program. Riviera’s reported standard direct price is $243 per point, with qualifying promotional incentives potentially reducing the effective cost. Prospective buyers also face annual dues, which can change over time, and the resort’s ownership term is listed through Jan. 31, 2070.

Guests who want to book a conventional stay at Disney’s Riviera Resort are not affected by the ownership-sales milestone. The resort remains part of Walt Disney World’s hotel lineup and has Disney Skyliner connections toward EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Buyers considering a Riviera contract through resale may find lower pricing, but Disney’s property disclosure says points purchased through unapproved third parties cannot be used to reserve accommodations at other Disney Vacation Club resorts. Disney has not announced changes to direct-purchase incentives, pricing or marketing plans tied to Riviera’s eventual sellout.
