Walt Disney World fans finally have a date to circle on their calendars: reservations for Disney's Lakeshore Lodge open on October 6, 2025, with the resort itself set to welcome its first guests on July 1, 2027. The new property is a Disney Vacation Club resort, though non-members will be able to book stays as well.
The booking window is staggered by membership tier. Disney Vacation Club members can contact Member Services starting October 6. Annual Passholders get access the following day, October 7. Everyone else can reserve by phone at (407) 934-7639 or online beginning October 8.
Lakeshore Lodge draws inspiration from Walt Disney's personal love of the outdoors, with design touches nodding to Bambi, Pocahontas, and Brother Bear woven throughout. The resort will offer 967 rooms ranging from studios to spacious suites. The pool complex — called The Wetlands — includes Lakeside Lagoon, a zero-entry pool with a spiral waterslide, plus a Daydream River that winds through the area. Kids get their own dedicated zones: Heron Shores features climbing structures, and Otter Springs offers interactive water play, both inspired by the storytelling of Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Three dining venues are coming to the resort, including table-service and quick-service options, along with Dandelion Terrace, an outdoor spot that Disney has positioned as a prime viewing location for Magic Kingdom fireworks. planning a Walt Disney World stay just got a compelling new option for 2027 travelers.
