Walt Disney World is already getting into the Halloween spirit, and shoppers can find a fresh batch of character costume capes at World of Disney in Disney Springs. The collection arrived ahead of the resort's Halloween season, which kicks off next month.
Four characters are represented in this latest drop. The Evil Queen cape ($59.99) pairs a black top with shimmery blue and purple details, a pointy white collar, and the queen's signature red and gold pendant. The Fairy Godmother cape ($69.99) goes the opposite direction — shimmery blues and pinks tied together with a bright pink bow, straight from Cinderella.
Fans of Hercules can pick up the Hades cape ($59.99), which features embroidered versions of his henchmen Pain and Panic leaping through blue flames on a grey and black skirt, plus a geometric blue belt with a skull applique. The priciest option is the Jafar cape ($79.99), a dual-sided design that shows the villain's turban and cloak on one face and a snake transformation scene on the other, nodding to his shape-shifting moment in Aladdin.
These capes offer a relatively easy way to put together a Disney-character look for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or any other fall visit — no full costume required. Prices range from $59.99 to $79.99.
