Disney Cruise Line Cutting 20–30% on Winter Sailings

Disney Cruise Line is running some notably steep price cuts on select sailings departing this fall and winter, with discounts ranging from 20 to 30 percent off certain fare categories. The deals cover departures from five major North American ports — Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, San Diego, Vancouver, and Galveston — on specific dates running from September 2026 through January 2027.

The catch is that these are restricted guaranteed-category fares, meaning travelers choose a cabin tier but don't get to pick their exact room. Disney Cruise Line assigns the stateroom later based on remaining availability. The three eligible tiers are IGT (guaranteed inside stateroom), OGT (guaranteed oceanview), and VGT (guaranteed verandah). While Disney guarantees the booked tier or higher, the assigned room could have an obstructed view, and the assignment is final once made.

Recent fare snapshots offer a sense of the savings in practice. A four-night Baja sailing from San Diego on October 1 was priced at $2,697 for two adults; a five-night Bahamas cruise out of Port Canaveral on October 18 came in at $2,730; and a 14-night Panama Canal repositioning voyage ending in Galveston on November 6 was listed at $4,954. All of those figures cover the base voyage fare only — taxes, gratuities, and port charges are additional.

Before booking, there are a few conditions worth knowing. Full payment is required at the time of reservation, the fares are nonrefundable for U.S. travelers, and no name changes are permitted after booking. The promotion also cannot be stacked with other discounts or redeemed using Disney Vacation Club points. Given that inventory at promotional rates can move quickly, travelers interested in these fares should check current availability directly through Disney Cruise Line's website before committing.
