Disney Vacation Club members have a new perk to consider for the newly released Fall 2027 through Spring 2028 Disney Cruise Line itineraries: a 20% discount on select voyages aboard the Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy. Members who book by October 31, 2026, also receive a $250 onboard credit. Early booking opens September 3, 2026, and reservations must be made by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800.
The three ships cover a wide range of destinations. The Disney Wonder will sail three- to seven-night Baja and Mexican Riviera routes out of San Diego, with stops including Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, and Catalina Island. The Disney Dream departs Port Canaveral for three- and four-night Bahamas sailings before repositioning to Fort Lauderdale in November 2027. The Disney Fantasy runs Bahamas and Western Caribbean routes from Port Canaveral, then repositions to San Juan and Fort Lauderdale for sailings that include Eastern Caribbean, Bermuda, and an eight-night cruise visiting both of Disney's Bahamian island destinations.
There's an important catch worth understanding before booking. The $250 onboard credit requires at least one passenger to be booked using DVC Reservation Points. Whether the 20% discount itself also requires using points is less clear — the fine print as written only attaches that requirement to the credit, though Disney Vacation Club's standard policy for cruise deals has historically required points use for the discount as well. Disney Tourist Blog notes the marketing language may simply be written ambiguously.
If points use is indeed required for the discount, Disney Tourist Blog strongly advises against it, calling the DVC-to-cruise-line exchange rate a poor value. Their recommended alternative: rent your points through a third-party marketplace and apply that cash toward the cruise fare instead, a strategy that can save thousands depending on the sailing size.
