If working at Walt Disney World has been on your bucket list, now is the time to make it happen. Disney has officially opened applications for the Disney College Program's spring 2027 session, giving students a chance to spend a semester immersed in the world's most famous theme park resort.
Accepted participants live at Flamingo Crossings Village, a purpose-built housing community located about a mile west of Walt Disney World. The complex — owned and operated by American Campus Communities — offers resort-style pools, fitness centers, basketball and volleyball courts, and 24/7 community centers. Complimentary bus service runs to the parks, resorts, Disney Springs, and nearby retailers including Target and Walmart. A town center on-site includes dining and shopping options such as Starbucks, Five Guys, and 7-Eleven, along with an AdventHealth emergency room and primary care clinic.
On the professional side, participants choose from six role categories: food and beverage, retail and sales, operations, recreation, entertainment, and lodging. Beyond daily work experience, the program offers career-focused perks like recruiter meet-and-greets, portfolio reviews on Career Readiness Day, behind-the-scenes attraction tours through the Discover Disney series, and financial literacy classes. Participants may also be eligible to earn college credit through the American Council of Education, no matter their field of study.
The compensation package includes complimentary park tickets and Cast Member discounts at participating Walt Disney World locations — a notable perk for anyone who loves the parks. Academic support is also available for students taking courses through their home institutions during the program.
