Disney Cruise Line has shared new details about its upcoming ship Disney Believe, the fourth vessel in the Wish-class fleet, expected to enter service in late 2027. Like its sister ships, Disney Believe will weave Disney storytelling throughout the guest experience, this time centered on a theme of promise and possibility.

The ship's Grand Hall will draw inspiration from Moana, while Tinker Bell from Peter Pan will serve as the bow character. At the stern, Toy Story's Woody and Buzz Lightyear will take the spotlight. Beyond those focal points, the ship will incorporate characters and stories from across the broader Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars universes.

Disney Believe fits into an ambitious fleet expansion plan that is expected to grow Disney Cruise Line to 13 ships over the coming years. Following the Wish-class vessels, a new intermediate class of ships — larger than the line's classic fleet but smaller than the Wish class — is planned to debut starting in 2029.

The Disney Believe announcement came alongside a wave of broader Disney announcements, including new attractions at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris, though the new ship remains the centerpiece of the company's near-term cruise expansion strategy.
