Visible changes are underway in the Tropical Americas section of Disney's Animal Kingdom, where roofing has been stripped from structures associated with Carousel Progress and Dinosaur Treasures. The work signals active construction progress in that corner of the park.
Elsewhere at Walt Disney World, construction walls have gone up outside The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom, hinting at upcoming work around the beloved dining location. A tower crane installation has also begun at the Piston Peak National Park site, with vertical construction expected to start soon.
Over at Magic Kingdom, the Westward Ho sign was removed ahead of planned demolition, and Haunted Mansion received a chimney refresh as scaffolding came down from that attraction. Disney World also added three more Annual Passholder Good to Go days to the calendar.
On the Disneyland side, Matterhorn Bobsleds reopened following a brief refurbishment, and the 2026 holiday season has been confirmed to start earlier than originally announced at the Disneyland Resort. A large tree was also removed near Indiana Jones as part of the still-mysterious Project Fedora.
