Magic Kingdom's Diamond Horseshoe has had quite the year. The beloved venue — long a table-service alternative to the nearby Liberty Tree Tavern — closed in May to host Jessie's Roundup, a theater show that runs as part of Cool Kids Summer. But once that program wraps up on September 8th, the space won't be sitting idle for long.
Disney has announced that the Diamond Horseshoe will reopen as a cowboy-themed lounge on a limited-time basis. The concept is described as a relaxed spot to rest and enjoy "provisions and libations," welcoming both walk-ins and guests with reservations. No specific opening date or end date has been confirmed yet, and Disney is calling it a pop-up experience.
The new menu leans into the Western theme with items like a Savory Charcuterie Board featuring cured beef, smoked pork, "fancy bacon," green chile cheese, smoked cheddar, and pickles. On the drinks side, the non-alcoholic Enchanting Ember Lemonade combines Minute Maid Premium Lemonade with strawberry and hot honey, finished with a chili-lime rim. Adults can opt for the Cactus Rose Margarita, made with LALO Blanco Tequila, prickly pear, lime, and agave.
