Guests and event planners with trips to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort on the books should know that the property's Convention Center is heading into a lengthy renovation. Work is scheduled to kick off on August 10, 2026, and run through late September 2027.

The project also covers the El Centro Corridor and surrounding areas, which Disney is folding into the same effort. Rather than shutting everything down at once, the work will roll out in phases — meaning only portions of the Convention Center and corridor will be inaccessible at any given time.

To keep disruptions manageable, construction crews are primarily scheduled to work overnight. Even so, Disney notes that guests staying at the resort may still notice some sights and sounds associated with the ongoing work throughout the project's duration.

For anyone planning a conference, a convention, or simply a leisure stay at Coronado Springs during this window, it's worth factoring in that some spaces will shift in and out of availability as each phase progresses. The resort itself remains open throughout the refurbishment.
