SpaceX launched a Cargo Dragon spacecraft aboard a Falcon 9 rocket early Oct. 13 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, sending the vehicle into orbit for NASA’s 35th Commercial Resupply Services mission, known as CRS-35.

The pre-dawn launch left a broad glowing plume in the sky above Florida’s Space Coast. Onlookers compared the illuminated trail to jellyfish tentacles, a visual effect often described as a “space jellyfish.”

The mission was reported as successfully completed after liftoff. The launch originated from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, making the plume visible against the dark early-morning sky.
