Fans of Beak and Barrel, the Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge at Walt Disney World, may soon have an easier time scoring a spot. A "Join Walk-Up List" button has quietly appeared inside the My Disney Experience app, signaling that the venue is preparing to offer a walk-up waitlist option.

For now, tapping the button doesn't do much — it currently returns an error rather than adding guests to any list. That suggests the feature is still being tested or configured behind the scenes before a proper launch.

Walk-up lists have become a popular middle ground at Disney dining locations, giving guests who didn't snag an advance reservation a shot at getting in on the day of their visit. If Beak and Barrel follows the same model, it could open the door for more spontaneous visits to the atmospheric bar tucked inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction area.

No official launch date for the feature has been announced, but the appearance of the button in the app typically means a rollout isn't far off. Disney guests will want to keep an eye on My Disney Experience for updates.
