The fourth annual Amelia Island Cookout is scheduled for Oct. 15-18, with more than 30 chefs, pitmasters, mixologists, winemakers and other culinary participants expected for the four-day event.
Hosted by The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, the festival’s signature gathering will take place beneath an oceanfront tent at the resort. Organizers describe the Cookout as an island-wide celebration of food, wine, spirits and Southern hospitality.
The program lists more than 20 curated experiences, including Fishing With Chefs outings, cooking demonstrations, food and wine pairings, After Glow parties, live music and a Master Chefs Gala Dinner. Other listed offerings include collaborative dinners, a wine sunset cruise, a cigar and port experience, a Southern-style oyster roast and a Mystery Destination Lunch.
Chef Okan Kizilbayir, chef de cuisine at Salt at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, is the festival’s culinary director, according to the event website.
Events will extend beyond the resort to locations across Amelia Island and historic Fernandina Beach. The 2025 Cookout ran Oct. 16-19 and included eight curated events; this year’s lineup has expanded to more than 20 experiences. Organizers have not released attendance figures or a complete public schedule showing availability for individual events.
