Universal Orlando Resort could eventually offer Annual Pass options that include Universal Epic Universe, though the resort has not announced a new product or release date.
During Comcast’s third-quarter results call on Oct. 22, co-CEO Mike Cavanagh said the company planned to bring “promotional and product packages” to market, including “three-park passes and the like.” Universal Orlando already sells three-park tickets covering Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay. His comments appeared to point instead to packages that would add Epic Universe alongside the resort’s two original theme parks.
At present, Universal Orlando Annual Passholders can buy specially priced one-day tickets for Epic Universe rather than using their passes for admission. Earlier this year, a survey sent to passholders asked about potential Epic Universe Annual Pass options.
Cavanagh said Universal is working to improve Epic Universe capacity through attraction reliability, availability, throughput and load times. He attributed that effort in part to settling technology and training team members to load and unload guests at the appropriate pace.
Planning Your Trip
Undercover Tourist is an authorized seller of Universal Orlando tickets, often at a discount off gate price.
He did not provide a timeline, pricing or eligibility details for any future three-park pass. Cavanagh also referenced Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift, which is under construction at Universal Studios Florida, while noting that new attractions being developed for the other parks were “not Epic.”
Guests considering future Universal Orlando ticket plans should note that the possible Epic Universe-inclusive pass remains unannounced.
