Several Tampa Bay-area festivals and events have been postponed or canceled amid heavy rain and anticipated severe weather, according to event organizers and the City of Tampa.

Oktoberfest Tampa has moved to Oct. 30 through Nov. 1 at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa. Organizers and the city said saturated grounds made tent setup unsafe. Tickets purchased for the original dates will be honored on their corresponding days during the rescheduled weekend. The festival is still expected to include German food, beer, live music, dancing, Bavarian performances and games.

The St. Pete Autumn Harvest Festival at the Pinellas Pioneer Settlement has been rescheduled for Oct. 24. The event had been planned with fall activities, hayrides, crafts, food vendors and pumpkin activities.

Island Fest at Honeymoon Island has been canceled, with no replacement date announced. In Bradenton, Hunsader Farms canceled its Pumpkin Festival dates of Oct. 10 and 11 because of rainfall. The farm said its pumpkin festivals remain scheduled for Oct. 17-18 and Oct. 24-25, and staff will contact guests with KOA reservations.

The 20th Annual Cotee River Bike Fest in New Port Richey, originally set for Oct. 9-11, has been postponed until Jan. 15-17, 2027. Organizers cited safety concerns for riders, vendors, production crews, bands and volunteers, as well as soaked grounds and difficult setup conditions.

Organizers indicated that additional schedule changes could follow as weather impacts develop. Visitors should check individual event pages for the latest information before traveling.
