Walt Disney World has filed a construction permit for undisclosed work at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Disney’s Sourcing & Procurement team filed the permit on October 8, listing Buena Vista Construction Company as the contractor. Buena Vista Construction Company is Disney’s in-house construction group. The filing describes the work only as providing “labor, material and/or electrical for construction.”

The permit does not identify the scope of the project or announce any changes for the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attraction. WDW News Today reported that the filing may point to maintenance work rather than a major overhaul or physical expansion, noting that a planned thematic change would be expected to originate with Walt Disney Imagineering instead.

No scheduled closure has been announced for Rise of the Resistance. The attraction has had on-ride effects operate in alternate “B-mode” versions or experience technical issues since opening, according to WDW News Today, though the permit itself does not specify whether any particular effect is involved.
