Walt Disney World has opened reservations for Holiday Sleigh Rides at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, bringing the seasonal horse-drawn experience back for the 2026 holiday season.
The rides are scheduled from Dec. 1 through Dec. 30, 2026, with no rides offered on Dec. 24. Each approximately 25-minute outing travels through the wooded surroundings of Fort Wilderness in a carriage styled as a traditional Christmas sleigh.
Each sleigh costs $80 including tax for the full vehicle, rather than per guest. Disney says a sleigh can hold up to four adults, or two adults and three small children.
Guests begin at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch barn near the Settlement Bus Depot. While the experience is called a sleigh ride, it uses a carriage-style vehicle—an old-fashioned holiday outing without Central Florida snow.
Planning Your Trip
Undercover Tourist is an authorized seller of Orlando theme park tickets, often at a discount off gate price.
Reservations can be made up to 60 days before the date of the experience through Walt Disney World’s website or My Disney Experience app. Same-day reservations and walk-ins may be available if space remains, but are not guaranteed.
Visitors driving to Fort Wilderness should allow extra time. Disney directs them to park near the resort’s main entrance and use the complimentary internal bus to reach the Settlement area.
