EPCOT’s Test Track single-rider line was closed Wednesday, October 14, as Walt Disney World tested a new operating procedure at the World Discovery attraction.

Disney Fanatic reported that a guest was turned away from the single-rider entrance and was told by a cast member that the queue would remain closed for the day during the test. Walt Disney World had not publicly commented on the trial or said whether the single-rider line would reopen October 15.

The development follows a similar change at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney tested loading Expedition Everest by dividing parties in the regular queue into even and odd groups rather than using the single-rider line. The Expedition Everest single-rider queue closed permanently in September, according to Disney Fanatic.

For now, Test Track’s longer-term single-rider availability remains unconfirmed. Other Walt Disney World attractions cited by Disney Fanatic as offering single-rider access include Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, plus Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT. A single-rider option at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance may open at times, but is not guaranteed.
