Walt Disney World has outlined holiday-season benefits for guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels, including early park access, seasonal hotel décor and possible character appearances.
With valid theme park admission, eligible Resort hotel guests can use Early Theme Park Entry at any of Walt Disney World’s four theme parks. The benefit allows entry 30 minutes before the scheduled opening each day of a guest’s stay, subject to capacity.
Disney also says characters may make surprise appearances at its Resort hotels during the holiday season. The appearances are not presented as scheduled meet-and-greets.
Hotels across the collection add Christmas trees, decorations and holiday music, while select locations offer seasonal food and drinks for purchase. The holiday setting continues outside the parks, including Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Planning Your Trip
Undercover Tourist is an authorized seller of Walt Disney World hotel and ticket packages, often with savings over booking direct.
Other on-property benefits include complimentary Disney transportation, with options varying by resort and potentially including buses, Disney Skyliner, monorails, water transportation or walking paths. Eligible guests also receive advance booking windows for dining, certain experiences and Lightning Lane passes.
For travelers comparing accommodations during the busy Christmas period, those benefits are part of the calculation alongside the cost of staying at a Disney hotel. Guests planning a visit can compare Walt Disney World ticket options as they build their trip.
