What's Included in the Cabana Price
Cabanas are rented for the full island day. Each one comes furnished with a ceiling fan, comfortable seating, a private outdoor deck with chaise lounges under a sailcloth shade, a hammock, and a freshwater shower. Inside, a stocked mini-fridge holds soft drinks and bottled water, and fresh fruit and snacks are included throughout the day. A dedicated cabana host provides beverage service and can take orders for additional items (including alcoholic drinks, available at extra cost via an onboard package). Also included per guest: use of snorkeling equipment, a float or tube rental, sand toys, and one hour of bike rental. Family Beach cabanas do not include a private bathroom, but restrooms are a short walk away. Each cabana also has a private changing area, which is handy if you're doing the island's 5K run.
The new Mickey & Minnie Cove Cabanas add one particularly nice touch: a dedicated dining pavilion exclusively for cabana guests, so you're not carrying lunch trays back from the main BBQ area. The Grand Cabana at Mickey & Minnie Cove accommodates up to 12 guests for $1,320 base, with the same $56 per-person add-on up to 16. Serenity Bay standard cabanas start lower, at around $523 for up to 4 adult guests. Prices include Bahamian tax and are charged to your onboard account. Strategies for Actually Getting One
- Set a calendar alert for midnight on your booking window date. Cabanas can vanish within minutes — sometimes seconds — after a window opens. Have your Disney Cruise Line account logged in and your reservation pulled up before the clock strikes your booking day.
- Consider Concierge if a cabana is a priority. The concierge team books on your behalf when the window opens, which frees you from the manual scramble. Many first-time guests who land a cabana do so because they sailed Concierge.
- Target the newer Mickey & Minnie Cove area. With 30 cabanas added to the island's supply, availability has been spotted at the Pearl, Platinum, and even Gold booking windows since they opened — a notable improvement over the old days when Concierge guests could snap up everything before the Platinum window even launched.
