¡ARTE VIVA! will return to Florida’s Paradise Coast for its 2026-27 season, bringing Hispanic arts and culture programming to Naples, Marco Island, Immokalee and surrounding Collier County destinations.
The season will include new programs, family activities and returning events presented by partners of the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples plans an interactive ¡VIVA Mexico! program focused on Mexico’s culture, history and traditions. Other offerings include a Día de los Muertos grass-wall installation at the Marco Island Center for the Arts, children’s activities at the Marco Island Historical Museum and a Young Creators series at COCO Gallery in Coastland Mall.
Día de los Muertos programming includes a free celebration at Artis—Naples on Oct. 28, with dance performances, family activities, exhibitions including Florida Contemporary 2026-27, and a live art demonstration by Naples artist Nicario Jiménez-Quispe. Naples Botanical Garden will hold its annual celebration Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, featuring eight-foot Calaveras sculptures by Ricardo Soltero, ofrendas, children’s activities, music and dance performances.
Visual-art exhibitions on the schedule include The Untold Stories of the Mexican Railroad Braceros of World War II at the Naples Depot Museum through Dec. 23; The Surrealist International: Fifty Years of Dreams at The Baker Museum from Oct. 17 through Feb. 14; and Picasso: Back to the Origins at Naples Art Institute from Feb. 6 through May 2. The Naples Art District also plans its March exhibition, Wings of Wonder: The Miraculous Migration of the Monarch Butterfly to Central Mexico, as part of its 20th anniversary.
Music programming includes the Marco Island Center for the Arts’ Musical Interludes series, with Brazilian guitarist Everton Azevedo, Latin Grammy winner Leslie Cartaya and Brazilian Voices. Opera Naples’ Festival Under the Stars will run across two months and include Hispanic artists and productions created by Artistic and Music Director Ramón Tebar.
Venezuelan-born Naples watercolor artist Carolina Albrizzio-López created the season’s poster, titled Making Memories. COCO Gallery will host a meet-and-greet with Albrizzio-López from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 14 during an exhibition marking five years of ¡ARTE VIVA!.
The festival recently received four 2026 SunSational Awards from the Florida Festivals and Events Association, including silver awards for its 2025-26 commemorative poster and social-media campaign.
