Walt Disney World’s published calendar currently lists a later-than-usual opening for Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2026.
The park is scheduled to open at 9 a.m. and close at 6 p.m., for nine hours of regular guest access. Animal Kingdom is generally listed with an 8 a.m. opening on surrounding dates, including Sunday, Nov. 8, Nov. 22 and Nov. 29. The day before, Saturday, Nov. 14, is currently scheduled for 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Eligible Disney Resort hotel guests would have Early Theme Park Entry beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 15, rather than the usual 7:30 a.m. start associated with an 8 a.m. park opening.
Disney has not given a reason for the later opening on its calendar. BlogMickey first reported that Nov. 15 appeared to be the only 9 a.m. Animal Kingdom opening listed from late October into early 2027.
