Guests at Disney’s Old Key West Resort will temporarily lose a direct boat option to Disney Springs this fall.
The Sassagoula River Cruise between Old Key West and Disney Springs will be unavailable from Oct. 12 through Nov. 1, according to Disney Food Blog. Bus transportation to Disney Springs will be offered while the boat route is closed.
The closure follows a previous shutdown of the service from late July into early August for dock refurbishment, Disney Food Blog reported.

Old Key West visitors can also walk to Disney Springs, though the trip takes about 45 minutes, according to the report. Guests planning meals, shopping or other time at Disney Springs during the closure period may want to allow for the alternate transportation.
