NASA and Boeing will provide an update on the development of the Starliner spacecraft during a news conference at 3 p.m. EDT Monday, Sept. 28.
The briefing will cover Starliner’s development and plans for regular crew flights to and from the International Space Station, NASA said. The event will be available online through NASA Live.
Scheduled participants are NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman; Dana Weigel, manager of NASA’s Low Earth Orbit Program; NASA astronaut Woody Hoburg; and John Mulholland, Boeing’s vice president and program manager for Commercial Crew.
Credentialed Crew-13 media may attend in person at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Reporters seeking to ask questions remotely must request the dial-in number from the Kennedy newsroom no later than one hour before the briefing, according to NASA.
Starliner previously carried NASA Crew Flight Test astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to the space station, where the spacecraft docked at the Harmony module’s forward port.
