Four astronauts arrived at the International Space Station on Thursday following an approximately eight-hour flight from Cape Canaveral, setting a U.S. speed record for a crewed trip to the orbiting laboratory, according to the Associated Press.
The rapid journey carried the new crew from Florida to the space station in less than a day. Their arrival brings fresh astronauts to the International Space Station, where crews live and work in orbit.
The Associated Press reported that the flight was the quickest U.S. express trip yet to the station.
