Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel will close in full beginning October 12, 2026, for what Disney describes as comprehensive enhancements to its facilities, services and overall guest experience.
The closure will include all guest rooms, dining locations and amenities at the Victorian-themed hotel. Disney has not announced when the property will reopen or detailed the scope of the work.
Renovation activity began on the hotel’s west side in June, while the resort remained open. During that initial work, construction was limited to 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., guests were advised of possible noise and paint odors, and some west-side room types were removed from booking.
The Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel has operated since the resort opened in 2005 and is described as its premier accommodation. It has Victorian-style architecture, formal gardens and waterfront dining.

Undercover Tourist is an authorized seller of Walt Disney World hotel and ticket packages, often with savings over booking direct.
Guests visiting Hong Kong Disneyland during the closure will still have two Disney-operated hotel options: Disney Explorers Lodge and Disney’s Hollywood Hotel. Disney said both neighboring properties will remain open and continue accepting reservations while the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is refurbished.
The full hotel shutdown starts a little more than four months after Hong Kong Disneyland’s yearlong 20th-anniversary celebration ended on June 7, 2026.
