The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will honor the top eight bass submitted during the past TrophyCatch season at a Hall of Fame Ceremony in Gainesville.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Bass Pro Shops, 2650 Bass Pro Shops Blvd. It will recognize anglers who caught and released Florida bass weighing at least 13 pounds, according to FWC.
Attendees can watch the awards ceremony and hear from the TrophyCatch team about updates planned for Season 15 of the program.
FWC's TrophyCatch program accepts submissions for bass weighing 8 pounds or more. Launched in 2012, the program is part of the agency's effort to promote responsible fishing and conserve Florida's bass fishery.
