Three new residents are getting comfortable aboard the International Space Station after launching from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on July 14, 2026, and arriving at the orbiting laboratory the same day.
NASA astronaut Anil Menon joins Roscosmos cosmonauts Anna Kikina and Pyotr Dubrov as Expedition 74 flight engineers. The trio marked their first week aboard with a celebratory cake photo, captured on July 18.
Now in their second week on station, the three crew members are balancing the ongoing process of familiarizing themselves with life in microgravity while already contributing to active space research.
Their planned stay runs roughly eight and a half months, giving the crew plenty of time to settle into the rhythms of orbital life far above Florida and the rest of the planet.
