A stroller can make a Walt Disney World day much easier—but it needs to meet Disney’s rules before it reaches the tapstiles. Whether you are bringing a compact single, a double jogger or a medically necessary adaptive stroller, a little planning prevents a frustrating start to the day. As you plan Disney World tickets, add stroller logistics to the same pre-trip checklist.
Disney World stroller size limit
At all four theme parks and the water parks, a stroller may be no larger than 31 inches wide and 52 inches long (79 cm by 132 cm), measured at its widest and longest points. Measure your model at home—including any fixed accessories that extend its footprint—rather than relying on a product description that may list folded dimensions.
Many everyday doubles and double jogging strollers fit the standard, but oversized specialty models may not. Disney’s rules can change, so it is smart to check the current policy shortly before departure, especially if you are traveling with an adaptive device.
Are stroller wagons allowed at Disney World?
No. Traditional wagons and stroller wagons are prohibited at Disney World theme parks and water parks, whether they are pushed or pulled. The policy also bars trailer-style items towed by a person, stroller, wheelchair or ECV. A wagon that has a canopy, harnesses or a stroller-like handle is still a stroller wagon for this purpose, so do not count on getting it through security.
If your family likes a wagon’s cargo capacity, choose a compliant stroller with a generous under-seat basket instead. A simple stroller organizer can keep sunscreen, wipes and snacks within reach without turning the handle into a precarious pile.
Disney World stroller rental prices in 2026
Disney rents strollers inside each theme park and at Disney Springs. Current posted rates are:
- Single stroller: $15 per day, recommended for a child up to 50 pounds.
- Single, multi-day/length-of-stay rate: $13 per day.
- Double stroller: $31 per day, recommended for children up to 100 pounds combined.
- Double, multi-day/length-of-stay rate: $27 per day.
For a length-of-stay rental, you prepay the number of days needed and show the receipt at the rental location each day to pick up that day’s stroller. Disney’s in-park rentals must be returned before you leave the park; they do not go back to your hotel, the parking lot or Disney transportation with you.

Park hopping? Keep your receipt. You can present it at the next park to receive a replacement stroller that day, subject to availability. At EPCOT, rental points are available at both the main entrance and International Gateway. Disney Springs rentals require a $100 credit-card deposit.
For families who want a stroller for resort walks, airport days or breaks outside the parks, an off-site rental can be more practical. Disney identifies ScooterBug as its featured provider for resort-hotel deliveries and returns; Disney Resort hotel guests using that provider do not need to be present for delivery. You may also bring your own compliant stroller or arrange another third-party rental.
“Stroller as a Wheelchair” access: what it does
A “Stroller as a Wheelchair” tag is an accessibility tool for a guest who needs a stroller as a mobility device. When it is issued, the guest may keep the stroller with them in attraction queues rather than parking it at the usual stroller area.
Disney says the tag may be appropriate for a child with a disability who uses a stroller instead of a conventional wheelchair, a child who needs medical equipment transported through a queue, or an adult with a mobility disability who uses a stroller to assist with walking. Visit Guest Relations after entering the park to discuss the guest’s needs and request the tag. Guest Relations is available at all four theme parks, both water parks and Disney Springs during normal operating hours.
The tag is not the same as Disability Access Service (DAS), does not automatically change ride boarding requirements and is not a guarantee that every attraction can accommodate the device in precisely the same way. Ask the Cast Member at each attraction about the queue and any required transfer. If you are traveling by Disney bus, ordinary strollers must be folded and stored out of the aisle; medical strollers for guests with disabilities are handled as wheelchairs.
Quick stroller-day strategy
Put a distinctive but removable identifier on your stroller, take a photo of it before parking and never leave valuables in the basket. Most importantly, measure before you pack: a compliant stroller—or a rental plan you are comfortable with—makes the first hour of a Disney day far smoother.
