Walt Disney World has ended a discount that had allowed several eligible groups to save on bottled water and soda when buying the drinks in merchandise locations, according to Disney Food Blog.
Annual Passholders previously could receive their 20% merchandise discount on bottled drinks purchased in gift shops. The same drinks did not qualify for the discount at snack carts or restaurants, where they were treated as food purchases.
Disney Food Blog reported that Cast Members confirmed the bottled-drink discount is no longer available. The change also affects Disney Vacation Club Members, Disney Visa Cardmembers and Cast Members who had been able to use their respective discounts on bottled drinks in merchandise stores.

Visitors can still ask for complimentary cups of water at most quick-service restaurants, the report noted. At EPCOT, Club Cool continues to offer small complimentary soda samples from different countries, though guests cannot fill bottles there.
