Walt Disney World's Airport Luggage Transfer program has taken its first step beyond Value Resorts, with Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort becoming eligible for the free service effective August 18, 2026. Guests staying there can now skip baggage claim at Orlando International Airport on inbound trips, or hand off their bags at their home airport and find them waiting at the resort upon arrival.
The program, which relaunched as a pilot at Pop Century in late March 2025, now covers six Walt Disney World resorts: all five Value Resorts (All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, All-Star Sports, Art of Animation, and Pop Century) plus Caribbean Beach. The service works with three airlines — American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines — and runs in both directions, handling arrivals into MCO and departures out of it.
Caribbean Beach's addition makes geographic sense: it sits just a Skyliner gondola ride away from Pop Century and Art of Animation, and it's another large hotel, giving the logistics team a familiar kind of scale to work with. Disney Tourist Blog speculates that Disney's Riviera Resort — also in the same Skyliner corridor — could be a natural next candidate, though the Port Orleans duo (Riverside and French Quarter), with a combined room count north of 3,000, is another strong contender among the remaining Moderates.
One interesting footnote: Walt Disney World briefly announced Delta Air Lines as an upcoming airline partner before walking back that news. According to Disney Tourist Blog, the announcement was premature rather than incorrect, so Delta may still be in the pipeline — the timing just remains unclear.

The rollout has been slower than many guests had hoped, but the service appears to be gaining traction. Disney has improved in-resort signage and guest communications since launch, and reception has largely been positive. This article is based on reporting from Disney Tourist Blog.
