Orlando has advanced plans for a $61 million municipal event center across West Church Street from Camping World Stadium, according to EDMTunes.
The multipurpose facility is planned to occupy an entire city block and host indoor events including shows, banquets, esports and related programming. City-required plans also include traffic circulation and crowd-management measures intended to address congestion during major events.
The project is part of a broader $400 million transformation of the Camping World Stadium campus funded through Orange County’s Tourist Development Tax. Construction on the event center is targeted to begin by late 2026, while the wider stadium renovation timeline is slated for completion by summer 2027.
The site sits beside Tinker Field and the surrounding grounds used for large-scale events, including EDC Orlando each November. The new indoor venue would add event space next to the stadium’s existing outdoor festival footprint.
