Bakso, a 2-year-old Sumatran tiger at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, is scheduled to leave the park this fall.
The tiger will move to another zoo accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums as part of the Species Survival Plan, according to WDWMAGIC.
Bakso is part of the tiger habitat along Maharajah Jungle Trek at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The planned move is tied to the program’s management of animal populations among accredited zoos.
