Diners at Ale & Compass Restaurant inside Disney's Yacht Club Resort have something fresh to look forward to. Beginning July 22, the beloved table-service spot introduces a wave of new menu items spanning every daypart, leaning into the coastal New England spirit that defines the resort.
Breakfast additions include Stuffed French Toast with French vanilla filling and seasonal fruit compote, Dark Chocolate Waffles finished with dried cherry compote and espresso-mascarpone cream, and a savory Crab Cake Eggs Benedict with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. The morning lineup alone gives guests plenty of reasons to pencil in an early reservation.
Lunch and dinner lean heavily seafood. A Blue Crab Bisque with chili oil, sherry reduction, and jumbo lump crab joins the all-day menu, while a Maryland-style Crab Cake arrives with corn purée, tomato succotash, and spicy aioli. Dinner's headline dish may be the New England Seafood Pot Pie — a flaky pastry packed with shrimp, scallops, jumbo lump crab, fish, baby vegetables, and a brandy cream sauce. A 12-ounce Steak Frites with au poivre sauce rounds out the lunch options for guests who prefer land over sea.
Dessert gets equal billing with a Banana Crème Brûlée, a Boston Cream Pie with vanilla bean mousse and chocolate glaçage, and a plant-based Peanut Butter-Marshmallow Cup featuring potato meringue and a chocolate shell — a thoughtful addition for guests with dietary preferences.
